So — been on this thing for about five months now and it's basically bookmarked at this point, so figured I'd chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, just so you know where I'm coming from.
How I found it was genuinely pretty stupid — I could never get my head round what an each way return would be when the place terms changed. I'd just guess and then be surprised. Now type the odds in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.
The single bet calculator is the bit I open most — type in stake and odds and you get returns instantly, fractional or decimal, doesn't matter. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — acca and treble maths, lucky 15s, patents and yankees, which is where I'd always lose track. If you want a look, it lives at how to do matched betting uk and there's no login wall, which I appreciated.
The thing that actually made a difference is the more serious bits. They've got an probability converter and it makes obvious the overround, and a kelly tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is terrifying. Dutching calculator is decent if I'm covering two or three runners.
Couple of gripes. The design is a bit basic — zero frills, which honestly I don't mind but some will. On my phone it's usable but the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. And no app, it's browser only — fine by me but worth saying.
Right, that's me. Free, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. Anyone who still adds it up in their head, try it — saves me a load of "wait, that's it?" moments.
